Police debunk rumours of hotelier's son and friend who drugged and raped a lady, freed from custody

Recently, the son and owner of the Dallankester Hotels, Don-Chime George and his friend, Rasaq Oke were arrested for drugging and raping a 23-year-old lady in the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos.
However, there has been an outrage on twitter after rumours sparked that the suspects were released and the victim's brother was put in custody instead.
The twitter community continuously bashed that act by the Nigerian Police, equally calling out blogger Linda Ikeji, for putting down the story from her blog.
However the Nigerian Police PRO,  CSP Dolapo Badmos has debunked the rumours, via her instagram page, she stated that the suspects are still in custody and had been arraigned before court in Lagos.
