A man has allegedly clubbed his wife, Chinenye, to death with a pestle over her refusal to give him the sum of N30,000 in Oraifite, Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State. The said incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday. According to a source who gave his name as Vincent, the deceased had a small scale business she ran at Umunede Oba. . On that fateful day, she was said to have returned home after the close of business and her husband started asking her to give him money, but she refused. . They fought over it and later in the night when Chinenye was sleeping, the suspect attacked her with a pestle.”
